ABOUT ME

     “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit – fruit that will last.” John 15:16

                      Praise and Glory be to the mighty name of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ ! Greetings and welcome everyone in the name of Jesus! My name is Rina Rosario and I reside in Saudi Arabia with my husband and two wonderful children. I had been a home maker for the past sixteen years but it was only in the year 2010 that the Lord called me to start His work here.
                        I first, began a ministry for children teaching Catechism classes. My first Catechism class which started on Nov-6 2010 with only six children soon expanded to include more than14 children. I had an earnest desire to bring the Bible home to the little ones and to inculcate in them sound Christian values. With the Lord’s guidance I was able to impart a comprehensive Bible study, bringing the stories from the Bible alive to them. During Christmas, Christmas skits, Carols singing and other Christmas festivities brought the spirit of Christmas to the children and their families. The Lenten Season, brought with it, the Stations of the Cross conducted specially for the children and by the children brought the passion, death and resurrection of Our Lord Jesus close to their hearts.
                         A turning point in my ministry came in the year 2012, when the Lord called me to minister to families, women in particular. My father, the late Mr. Xavier (a preacher himself) who was a constant source of inspiration and guidance to me passed away in 2012. Following his death,I was impelled to follow in his foot steps. This was my first step in the direction of preaching catering to the spiritual needs of an entirely different audience. On April-8, 2012, my first prayer meeting was conducted, exclusively for women.By 2013, our prayer group had evolved to include six permanent prayer group members and it remains as such to this day. It has been three and a half years since I first began my ministry and my Lord Jesus had guided and strengthened me during these years.
                           In 2014, family reasons compelled me to sojourn to my homeland, India from where I intended to continue my service for the Lord. The blog https://rinaremy.wordpress.com emerged as a result of my ardent desire to reach out to people and lead more and more people closer to the Lord. Encouraged by my husband and friends, I have started this blog so that the word of God is preached to all nations and I can reach out to more and more people all over the globe. I invite one and all to visit my blog to satisfy their spiritual needs thus helping me to attain my objective. Thank you.
